1. Where's the best place you've ever stayed? – Well I would have to say – cruising the East Coast of America on a Silversea ship – Silver Whisper and docking in Bermuda – it was just beautiful and an amazing trip. 2. What's your oddest travel moment? - Travelling all the way over to Sydney – sitting in a bar and meeting a very old friend - just shows you the world is such a small place. 3. Have you had a perfect travel moment? – lying on the beach in the Maldives – on a sunlounger with a lovely cocktail in hand. 4. What are your three suitcase essentials? – Heated rollers/A really good romantic book/Sunglasses 5. What's your top travel tip? – when packing roll your clothes in your suitcase or holdall – you get more in and they don’t crease anywhere nearly as bad as folding them. 6. What is the biggest myth about Silversea – clients who have never been on Silversea – think it is expensive but actually I always say to people its not what you pay to get on a ship it is what you pay to get off – with Silversea you can walk off without a bill to pay – all your drinks – top branded drinks/wine/champagne – your gratuities and port charges/afternoon tea/specialist coffees etc are all included – along with the amazing nearly 1.1 guest to crew ratio the service. 7. Had a trip to Dubai and enjoyed dinner one evening onboard with Silversea, this was a fantastic ship with service second to none, food was amazing and served by very attentive staff. Stayed at the Addresse hotel at the marina, had a room with an amazing view over the marina, this hotel is a must not only for the luxury of the hotel but also the views from your balcony are amazing over the marina and the city. You can do bed and breakfast or half board at the hotel, there is also a poolside bar that serves snacks during the day and the food there is also very good pools at the hotel are lovely and not too busy. I done the helicopter tour of Dubai, this was amazing and my first helicopter flight, so good to see Dubai from the sky, malls were amazing, so much shopping to be done in Dubai, prices are very similar to the UK but the malls are luxury so really nice to shop there and enjoy a coffee had breakfast at the Burj al Arab, this was fantastic, the hotel is luxury and staff were lovely, breakfast was on the outside terrace overlooking the sea and just a lovely treat and a must do either for breakfast lunch or dinner and this can be organised in the UK before departure. Also visited the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in Dubai and again such a good trip you can pick up souvenirs on your way out, this is a busy excursion so best to book before you travel. Weather was fab for the time of year it was about 30 degrees and also still very warm in the evening. Light clothing for during the day but remember to cover up if you are paying a trip to the mosque. Then glam up a bit at night for heading out, bar 360 was a good night, drinks a bit expensive with a bottle of beer being about £10.but your on holiday so it doesn’t matter and you can take that into account before you travel. Weather hot during the day so better doing some of the trips in an evening, book excursions before you go to avoid disappointment alcohol is expensive so maybe take some duty free to enjoy on your balcony a trip to the souk is a must for leather bags etc. fab to do if you like to barter. Dubai is a place for every one of all ages, lots of excursions to do and hotels are all amazing nice family hotels and also hotels suitable to adults only, I have been to Dubai a few times and have enjoyed a lot of excursions, really enjoyed the helicopter trip and i have done the desert safari and that was such a good excursion to do Dubai is a must to see as there is a lot of history to the country and the people love to talk about the country with pride. Weather is good all year round but very hot in the summer months so need to be careful of the time you travel, overall I loved my trip to Dubai and will return in the future. If anyone needs any questions answered then please get in touch....enjoy your next trip to Dubai.
