Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas Gets a Re-Vamp

Recommended Posts

Royal Caribbean’s Mariner of the Seas is scheduled to enter dry dock in March and when she remerges she will be boasting some new attractions.

Guests will have the opportunity to have a go on a virtual reality trampoline, two waterslides, a FlowRider surf simulator, a few new restaurants and a new-to-Royal Caribbean Polynesian-themed bar.

Although there are many new attractions the most anticipated seems to be the new SkyPad which will be situated in the newly transformed top deck.

SkyPad is a virtual reality, bungee-trampoline experience where guests wear a headset and bounce their way over and past obstacles. The attraction is suitable for all ages and can be ridden without the virtual reality headset.

Other attractions being added during the dry dock include a glow-in-the-dark laser tag arena experience, located in Studio B, called "Battle for Planet Z" and a Puzzle Break: Escape the Room game.
